I'd way rather Kasabian - Clubfoot.

I'd be amping when the boys emerge from the tunnel!

I reckon Chumbawumba's "Tubthumping" is the way to go. It has a really good upbeat vibe and encapsulates the Phoenix fighting spirit.

Surely theres a NZ band worthy of being mentioned more prominently in this thread... I mean, Wellington is known for its strong music scene!

Poorly executed sarcasm, apologies. A response to people just suggesting a song because they like it. I'm looking at you Kasabian/White Stripes

Sorry to be the pedant but it was the lead singer from Madness (Suggs?) after Rick (with a silent p) had asked him if he knew "Summer Holiday" by Cliff Richard.

Carry on.

Right now The Cribs "I''m A Realist" would work best. Or even "I've tried everything" or "Things Are Gonna Change" by the same band.

Do you ever get the feeling The Cribs are writing songs for us??

Terminator X.  There must some PE tunes that could be used? "Fight the Power","Can't Truss it" (directed at FFA), "Bring the Noise", "It Takes A Nation of Millions (and a dodgy ref) to hold us back."
