Hey, just got my brazilian exchange student to translate some of the Sao Paulo chants and edited them to suit the phoenix. thought it might be quite kool to make the likes of daniel and felipe feel at home? thoughts on this?

here's one edited and original

Original:
Domingo Eu Vou L No Morumbi
Eu Vou Eu Vou
A Independente Vai Invadir
Vou Levar Foguetes E Bandeiras
No Vai Ser De Brincadeira
Ele Vai Ser Campeo

O Que Eu No Quero
 Cadeira Numerada
Eu Vou De Arquibancada Pra Sentir Mais Emoo
Por Que Meu Time Bota Pra Fuder
E O Nome Dele Vocs Que Vo Dizer:

I reckon Felipe definitely deserves his own song.

There's something simple like:
Ole ole ole
Felipe Felipe
Ole ole ole
Felipe Felipe

But I'm sure imaginative types can come up with something more original.

Chanting in Portugese would be ace, but that first one sounds a bit complicated.

Perhaps you could write it phonetically
(i.e. spell out the sounds)

Another (similar) thought: are there any simple Portuguese chants we could use against visiting Brazillians?

Hey "player" Vai tomarrr noh ku   Lit. go f**k yourself. A very popular one at Maracana esp at the referee.

Hei Juiz Vai tomar no Cu!!!

Very easy to learn.

We should do it for sure.

As per last thread...

To - Thats Amore.

When he runs down the wing, as he dances
we sing, thats Felipe (our Felipe)
If u see a good goal, thats not
Daniel or Old, thats Felipe (our Felipe)
His feet r so quick, n his finish is
slick, thats Felipe (our Felipe)
His boots may be white ( i dont know what colour they are), but his skills
are not sh*te, thats Felipe (our
Felipe )

Perfect!

Just need to learn how to pronounce it right! Any chance of uploading it to You Tube?

If anyone's going to this week's game they could already give "Hei Marcinho vai tomar no cu" a go at an appropriate juncture.

And I'm looking forward to using "Hei Juninho vai tomar no cu" when Sydney comes visiting. I don't care if he's good, 'cause he's not playing in black and yellow!
