The text field is what is displayed. That is why if you paste it there it is not clickable.
The url field SHOULD be the target that the link will take you to...
I am using Firefox and it works for me. Which browser are you using?

Aha I have just figured out that I have to paste into the URL AND type something into the Text box to get it to show up. If I leave the text box blank nothing shows up!
