ALW v Adelaide. 3 April. Hindmarsh

Howdy all, a group of us are heading over to this game the heading to Melbourne for the men’s game, as it is Easter.
Has anyone been to Adelaide for a game before? Any advice or contacts for pre game would be welcomed.

Additionally this is a double header with Adelaide men v Auckland as the second game. Our plan is to support Adelaide but am wondering if we take our Phoenix tops off or not. Somewhat dependant on what the Adelaide fans are like. Again advice welcomed

I went to the Ferns game at Coopers last month, so for all it wasn’t an ALW game happy to answer any questions as best I can.

The stadium’s an easy tram ride from the central city, and in general Adelaide’s easy to get around on public transport (the airport bus can be a bit of a crush with people’s luggage, but think of it as a polite mosh pit). For the Matildas crowd at least there were plenty of food options once you got in, and security wasn’t unreasonable - similar level of rigour to RoF.

Not sure what Adelaide ALW crowds are like, although I’ve heard we’re the only club whose active support turn out in force for the women’s games (kinda sad if true). But as pretty much the only kiwi in the “away bay” I found the locals to be a friendly bunch.

So I emailed Adelaide United and was told if I didn’t want to sit with Auckland supporters I need to buy General admission tickets. Seems like away fans will be spread out. Bit of a shame but it is what it is

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get in touch with little corner of yellow. I am assuming they will be there :)
