I live in CHCH when Im not freezing my arse off in Dunedin, so Im going to the game and would be semi keen for a kick around

Fantastic, if we get enough interest then we could do YF v Cantab Fever? Just an idea..

When closer to the time we'l sort out a park, most likely QE2

QEII would be good if the game was near there (ie at QEII) but since it's in town why not Hagley Park,  Or even closer in Latimer Square, so people staying round town and get there easily. Although no goals, but much better location.

ah true, we'd need a meeting point as Hagley is giant and avoid the druggies at latimer.. haha

Though we're still a good 3 months away. Would like to know how many YF are coming and if theyd be interested in Cantabs v Welly game

I'll play SB. Also for anybody that's interested, tickets are only being sold in the Deans stand, which means no Tui stand tickets  would have been ace for Fever Zone, it always goes off at cricket and rugby.

Hagley should have goals up over summer, there's a competition that runs there 4 nights a week.

I'll try and be there. It's around my birthday so some air fares are top of my birthday wish list.

Defo coming down. Team Welly are playing away at Otago the day after so I might also head south before heading home, if I can arrange it.

The airfares are shocking for the Friday / Saturday now, like $250 one way!

Might have to check out the train option potentially...

Check out Grabaseat asap for flights- three of us just managed to get return flights from Welly for $98 each return. Getting to Chch there were fewer flights, however home had heaps on the sunday for $49.

I'm off on holiday on the 12 of Jan, I've got the option of staying in Wellington till the Fury game and then heading away up north for a week and a bit. Or the other option is I miss the Fury game and go to Christchurch for the Adelaide game. I'm still working on trying to fit both in but it's unlikely. What's my best option do ya think (besides doing both) ? Fury or Adelaide.

Because the Rof is like a bowl we don't lose much sound, the sound circuates. However because of the nature of AMI the sound will be lost. I've been to cricket games at both Westpac and Ami and it was much louder at the cake tin.
