My flights are:

AKL - WGN Sun 14th Dec. NZ 445, departs AKL 3.25pm

Here are my flights, I went with the cheapest I could as I used Airpoints and Flybuys to buy my flights. (Want to save money for drinking)

WGN - AKL Sat 13th Dec NZ406, departs WGN 7.00am

AKL - WGN Sun 14th Dec NZ459, departs AKL 5.30pm

That's my plan too. Casino Friday night then can be fresh for a massive Saturday.

All depends on how much flights and accommodation cost when I actually have enough money to go ahead and book of course.

Cheapish accommodation - any ideas?

Stay at the International Airport terminal.

Maccas and Subway open 24 hours. Benches are comfortable and there's plug sockets for a laptop, cell phone or tablet. Spent all night playing Fifa Manager and Championship Manager.

Cost? nothing. Done it for the last two years. And you dont sleep in and miss your flight.

If you get the airport shuttle it's $16 each way or as I do, pay $28 for a return shuttle bus ticket.

We leave Wellington at 12:30, not arrive AKL at 12:30. You might be waiting a while for Jambo and I!
