So it's not 100% certain that we'll "see you in the NT", but a FeverTua to Darwin looks pretty likely. Who's planning to go?

Qantas is showing Welly-Darwin return for about NZ$1400 and AirNZ is around $100 more (although with worse timings IMO). There are probably smarter/cheaper options I haven't looked at yet.

Anyone who does go on that trip, does need to be recognised at the Nix end of season awards.

Auckland will rise once more

Hopefully not with a Darwin Award.

(I promise I'll stop making that lame joke now, twice is twice too often.)

Oops, duplicate post (ironic when I'm posting about an award for stupidity).

The tickets page is working now, just in case following the Nix through the regular season wasn't masochistic enough for you.

A$30 for both games is a pretty good deal, at least if you ignore flights, accommodation, risk of being eaten by crocs, and all that stuff.

Cheaper to fly to Singapore. Mind you flying from Wellington to Gisborne is between $300-$400+ depending. Air New Zealand, the great rip off in the Sky without competition.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The recurring theme seems to be screwing over domestic travellers to subsidise the more competitive international routes: one of the Glory supporters who came over for their tour of duty said he was passing on Darwin because it was over A$1000 return from Perth.

By comparison I got Welly-Darwin-Melbourne-Welly for just under A$1600, which shows Qantas aren’t shy about milking domestic routes either.
