I'll be there, my third ever Nix game after a home match against Melbourne last year and the pre-season game in Tianjin.
Anyone else going?
Anyone know where to meet pre-game? I don't intend getting an Australian SIM so will need to know a time and place in advance.
Cheers,

Me, the wife and a mate are going over for it. We were thinking about going to the The Fox and Lion (in the Entertainment Quarter) before the game as it seems like the place to go as mentioned on some of the previous trips to Sydney posts.
My first away game. lucky the wife likes football but i think it was more a few days away in Sydney she was keen on

Cool. My mate in Sydney reckons the Fox and Lion is "not a bad pub, about 10 mins walk away", so shall we meet there two hours prior?

Man, I wish I could go to one of these games. I've got a big trip to Europe next year so theres not so much available for an away game. Maybe just maybe over the summer holidays I'll have a go at getting to one.

All going to plan I will have two NZ Defence Force Football teams (Mens, O35's) coming to the game possibly three! So looking at 30-45 people, should bump up the away support!!

I will talk to the guys about Fox and Lion, hopefully we can make it there as well. We have a game to play earlier that day so might be a bit tight.

That would look awesome on the Tele seeing over 50 in the away zone. Good stuff.

That would be seriously awesome and once again show the doubters how deserving the Phoenix are of our place in the league, if we have that many supporters at an away game.

Great deal for Phoenix fans in Sydney: $10 GA tickets for NZ supporters to see the on-fire Phoenix battle top-of-the-table Sydney FC at the SFS, 5pm Sunday. Simply use the code word KIWI to redeem your ticket. The offer is available through Ticketek outlets in Sydney or the Box Office on match day (no online or phone sales).

So Aussies just have to put on a Kiwi accent & get a cheaper ticket?
At least that's what they're saying on SFCU (PAX Wed Thread).

Cheers guys.
Had heaps of fun. Good to meet some of the Aussie nix fans too.
We got the Bus to the stadium with other Sydney fans. All nice people.
Bus ride back to town was fun. We had some boys from the cove singing "What's it like to shag a sheep!" and sang a great Aloisi chant.
Plenty of us at one stage. close to 30 or so according to Terry S. Met him going through customs in Sydney. He said that he was in his Corporate box... Disappointing.
Almost as disappointing as the Defense force guys sneaking in alcohol.
Considering making that trip a tradition.

It was good meeting other Nix fans in the bar beforehand and walking to the stadium together.
Whoever said Sydney was supposed to be warm? The wind was bloody freezing! Shame the Welly conditions didn't help us much...

got back last night - good trip shame about the score. Big thanks to the Cove for making us welcome in their pub after the game. Some of them even brought me a couple of beers. The really good thing is that they are all in favour of keeping us in the league and also want the all whites to qualify for the world cup
See you all tonight
