The Phoenix season ends with the following 5
games:
Sun Jan 23 - Perth Glory - home
Sun Jan 30 - Newcastle Jets -
home
Sat Feb 05 - Adelaide Utd. -
away
Wed Feb 09 - Sydney FC -
away
Sun Feb 13 - North Queensland Fury -
home
After the success of the recent away trip to Melbourne,
I am thinking of taking Monday Feb 7th - Thursday Feb 10th as annual leave and
going to Adelaide and Sydney so I can ride the wave for the last 5 games of the
season into the finals (hopefully).
Rough plan:

Fly out Friday evening or Saturday morning. Go to the
Adelaide Utd. game at Hindmarsh Stadium Saturday evening (6.30pm Adelaide
time).

Sunday/Monday/Tuesday could be used for a trip up the
Barossa Valley and/or a visit to Kangaroo Island.

Tuesday/Wednesday travel to Sydney for the game
against Sydney FC on the Wednesday.

Thursday fly
home.
Options:
1. Melbourne Heart are playing the Central Coast
Mariners in Melbourne on Fri Feb 4th... if we left earlier on the Friday we
could check into a hotel in Melbourne and go to that game at
AAMI Park on the Friday night, and then fly on to Adelaide on
Saturday morning.
2. If anyone is crazy, Perth Glory are playing a home
game at 5pm on Sunday Feb 6th. We could fly from Adelaide to Perth for that
and then back to Sydney.
3. We could leave Adelaide on the Sunday and do
something in Sydney or Melbourne between the two Phoenix
games.
Not every one needs to do the same thing between the
games obviously...
Who is keen? (If we get a few to commit early we could get a travel agent to see if they could t-up a package deal)
