Mebournians to Sydney for Prelim final (13/03)
Alright then. So who of you are up for Sydney then? Have just done some preliminary investigation, and it is going to be a lot cheaper than Welly was last weekend. So no excuses! Put all travel and accomodation arrangements/disucssion in this thread.
Cheapest flights by far are with Tiger. I like the following flights:
Mel to Syd: 7:35am saturday, flight TT664 - $78
Syd to Mel: 4:55pm sunday, flight TT677 - $108 (or TT673 same price leaving 2hr earlier).
Total $186. Extra $$ for check in luggage and 7kg max carry-on.
By all accounts, Tiger can be useless, anal, unreliable pr**ks to travel with though...
C-diddy said he has some ideas for accomodation. I haven't checked hotels out, but would be up for room sharing at a cheapish hotel. Or backpackers?? Wotif.com often has some good deals.

So I've got game tickets (Cheers Coops), and I'm booked on tiger for the 7:35am flight up, and 14:15 flight back.
I can give rides to the airport from the southern side of the city. (I'm in St kilda).
