Great decision.

We've got a room coming up in Fever Towers.  Or you could share with Feverish.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

If you live on the Kapiti coast you get good weather and the Phoenix. You have some time on your side as this season is nearly over, personally I'd hate to be without my Phoenix fix.
email me if you want advice as to where to stay etc., zedned01@xtra.co.nz

Cheers mate.

Normally I get down there for a few games, But with my best mate now back in England I haven't been able to get down there this season. ( apart from the all whites game ).

As somebody who was forced to move the other way (well, just south of Auckland), by having a reasonably large salary cheque waved under my nose, I can heartily recommend the move. Wellington's great and, if it wasn't for the job, I'd still be living there very happiliy indeed. (and may well be again at some point in the future) Jag2010-02-26 09:44:36

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

If it wasn't for my job I would be there in a heart beat. Wellington is far better then Auckland

Yep, about the only thing keeping me away from Wellington is a lack of work in my field

Meh, I lived in Dunedin for five years so the weather wouldn't phase me so much.

Yeah, I think there must be a lot of people wanting to move to Wellington because of the Nix. I will as soon as I find a job down there...

Welly has more than just the NIX going for it. Great nightlife, diverse culture, stunning scenery and its not bloody flat so way easier not to get lost

And it's not Auckland!

Yeah, I've been down four times now, and I love the city more each time. The Nix is probably the biggest drawcard though.

Class comment, I have lived in Auckland my whole life. Been to Wellington about 10 or so times and love it the city the nix and the people.

I concur. I lived in Auckland for a year and it took only one long weekend to convince me I wanted to live in Wellington. Sadly my missus' work kept us in Auckland. Wellington has a vibe that Auckland just can't touch. It's a stunning city too, looking out from Kelburn.
