I'll be in Tauranga for this home game. Can anyone recommend a good pub that has a bit of atmosphere, so I can have a few bevies with the locals who support the Phoenix. Bran2012-01-04 10:43:43

I just moved to the Wellington Area for the states. Lived in Ohio and a Columbus Crew supporter. I'm hoping to get tickets for the game this weekend but I'm used to sitting in a supporters section for games. Can't be bothered showing up if I'm not going to have a few drinks and chants among friends. Does the Yellow Fever meet any where before games?

Yellow Fever meet at the Back Bencher before every game.  The pub is on Molesworth Street directly opposite parliment buildings. Bran2012-01-06 20:45:39

Sweet, now if I can just get this driving on the left side of the road figured out.

Does Yellow Fever sell tickets for the Phoenix front office? Or is it best to purchase tickets online/at the gate?

At the ground.

Or you can get them from the Ticketek office before hand.

Address
111 Wakefield Street
Wellington

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Or at the train station ticketek office

Another crew fan in Wellington what are the chances of that, if you go to the back bencher before the game which is very close to the stadium you will be able to find the yellowfever, and you can buy tickets before the game at Ticketek or at the stadium any you want to go into the yellowfever zone.

Unlike HSH who sell tickets its all done by the club through Ticketek even for the Yellowfever stuff.

I was in the Crew Union back home so I guess I was spoiled with the supporters pricing we got for season tickets in the Nordecke.

I couldn't get down to Wellington for the match Sunday, to be honest I thought for sure it was going to be canceled with the weather I was seeing up here.

Do you guys watch the away games at the same pub?

4 Kings on Courtenay Place seems to be a Yellow Fever joint for away games. Not sure about the Bencher so much - others will reply.

I'd love to get involved in some small sided games in the area as well. I just posted a new topic looking for 5 a sides in the regional football thread. Any information would be much appreciated.
