Other times I've been to Sydney there were a lot more seats than supporters in the away supporters zone so, within the away zone, it has been pretty much free seating.

Me and a mate and boy am I getting sh*t from the kids for not taking them. I think I'll survive this time but if we make the final I can see a chunk of their inheritance being handed over in advance to take them to Melb. Better half can't get time off work this weekend but working on getting following weekend off.

On Qantas flight early Sat morning.

Booked through Wotif using the secret deal - ended up middle of town.

Suggest Wotif or LastMinute. I've used the secret deal a couple of times and always had a good result.

Fox and Lion seemed to work well for us last season WB, great outdoor space and family friendly for all Nix fans and seemed to welcome us with open arms and didn't mind our sing along and friendly banter.  Short walk to the match too....

I'll be heading there about 4-5pm and have quite a crew forming (currently 17 of us, mostly Sydney based but a few from here) and will tell them all to meet at the F&L.

Lets get it on......

If anyone is in the mood for some Pre-Pre-Match bevvies then i'm thinking of hitting Paddy Maguires in the City (cnr George & Hay St in city) around 2pm ish

I'm pretty sure there's a pub near the SFS called The Phoenix.

Theres an away supporter section, so I presume they will all be together unless we sell out the away end.
