Potential GF travel

Let's say the stars align on Saturday, and we beat the Vuc. I can't see CCM giving away a 1 goal lead to a Sydney team that lost 2 starters to red cards...so I want to get organised on looking at potential travel as I promised my boy we'd go to the GF together if the Nix made it.
Is there anything I should consider? If it's a CCM home game, it will be in Gosford, right?

Right now I'm looking at flying out on Friday arvo to Sydney. From Sydney domestic terminal, we'd catch the T8 City Cirlce for 3 stops, get off at Central and then jump on the T line (Central Coast & NewCastle line) for 5 stops, 1h20m trip to Gosford.

Spend the day there on the Saturday (anything good to do with a 9 year old?), attend the match, go back to Hotel/BnB for the night.
Then travel back on Sunday.

Is there anything I've missed? Also, what are the odds of not being able to secure match day tickets in the away bay or the venue changing last minute, say to Sydney in order to potentially increase attendance?
I think I'd be booking things in this order, 
1. Flights
2. Tickets
3. Accommodation (any recommendations? There don't seem to be any good hotels near the stadium, only motels with rather mixed reviews).

The league have made a very big deal of the final being at Gosford if CCM win, so I’d be very surprised if they now move it, especially given there’s no revenue incentive for the club.

As much as I would like to head to Aussie for the weekend, I would love a Faghani masterclass helping Sydney beat CCM & us winning so we can host the Grand Final.
