I won't be there as I have a work trip.

I may be at this game up in the Foxtel Corporate Lounge.....just had to turn down tickets to said lounge for the Sydney FC vs Melb Victory match this Sat night....

Gutted but have asked for the invite to be "transferred"....

Yep that's the usual. No one turned up last time, but the weather was very average.

This will be our first away trip we'll see you there

yup, going to the sydney match. Where do we meet up for the pre match festivities then?

My flight arrives at 5:50pm, I'm optimistic I can get to Sydney Football Stadium from the airport before the game kicks off at 7pm but I don't know what I'm gonna do with my luggage, don't suppose someones taking a vehicle I could stash it in just while the games been played or has a better idea? I will try emailing the ground staff, hopefully they will offer somewhere to store it, this could be my first time attending an away game.

How much do you have one bag five bags ? 

I'd have a suitcase & backpack, my mate I'm traveling with probably 1 less, so say 3 bags, I just need somewhere to store them for the duration of the game that's all, I tried emailing the staff at the Sydney Football Stadium & the Sydney FC offices but no one is willing to help, I'm still waiting to hear back from a Sydney based friend but its not looking good.

There is an office on the right before you get in the gate just off Moore Park.  Walk up look pathetic and surely they would let you leave stuff there.

We left our bags in the merchandise stand at Somers St when we caught a VPL game the weekend of the AWs game.  They even sold Smithy a Knights strip so they got value.

Try ringing the SFS offices instead of email.  They can ignore email, a rining phone is much harder.

Chur bro, they actually replied back to my email pronto, but they didn't offer a solution or any alternatives, worse comes to worse I'll try the pathetic looking scenario but I'm hoping it won't come to that cause even then its not a given.

Can't wait for Wednesday. Who else is going? And is it the Taphouse now for the pre-match?

Fox and Lion in the entertainment centre south of the Cricket Ground.  Look it up on Google maps.  It will have some Sydney there but not the Cove types.  They will be at the Cook to the noprth of the ground.

Got back at midnight last night. Pity about the result but it didn't stop us having a good time... Away trips rock!  

Fully,that trip rocked. the ten or so minutes of "Ricki Herberts - Yellow Army" is a huge highlight it was like a mantra.
I have the bug now ,Can't wait for the next trip.

Ricki Herberts - Yellow army went on for about 20 minutes... bloody hell - couldnt talk for 2 days afterwards. Was awesome.
