Howdy, a group of us are going to the Brisbane game (depending on flooding). Anyone keen to catch up or suggest a pub, would be awesome.

I'll be there with a couple of families - 10 of us in total.

We're planning on having a pre-match beer at the Caxton Hotel, 38 Caxton St.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Excellent, thank you both
Caxton Hotel sounds good, we are trying to get some friends that now live over there to come as well.
See you then.

Just realised i will be in the Gold Coast at the time of this game, now just a matter of convincing my mate to make the trek into Suncorp.

Be keen on having a pre-match beer and all the rest.See you at the Caxton before the game I hope, I will be the young fella with the stripy on.

And for post match there is a great kebab joint just around the corner from the top of Caxton St!

Enjoy Suncorp too. Its an awesome stadium. Just a shame its in Brisneyland!

This is starting to look like a decent sized group. The count down has begun

I will be at the game aswell, all on my lonesome. Am keen to catch up with others. Have people already got their tickets? I see you can use the public transport for free if you have an event ticket.

And if you know any cheapish places to stay that is even better!
Thanks

I am also going to try and make it up this weekend. Got to the Central Coast game and made some noise. Hopefully we cant rattle the Roar and turn em into a whisper. See you in the away section...

I heard on the news there may be some flooding there now. Is anyone over there at the moment who can let us know?

I paid AUS$24 for my adult ticket in the away zone. Waiting to see the actual cost on my credit card.

I wish the news was consistant, in the Dominion Post is anarticle saying that insurance wont cover it as it only "inclement weather" and everybody is heading to either the Sunshine or Gold Coast, then on the web there are loads of notifications about road closures and no trains running, so how do they expect people to get to the sunshine or gold coast. As for us no one seems to know if the game will be on or not, if we'll have anywhere to stay etc. I hope when the Phoenix management find out if the game is cancelled that they let us know.

Sorry needed a little rant, I feel fine now

John Mitchell (nix media manager) was just on radio sport and said they were still planning to travel to brisbane as normal. the ground at suncorp is ok but it's the access to the ground etc. He said the FFA would make a call today.

Really wishing I hadn't changed my flight now.
