Question: If you pick the correct score, do you get the points for picking the right result, AND the 5 points for picking the exact score? Does anybody know?

If you get both, then AJC will get an extra 3 points for picking the 3-0 loss to Man City, and I will get an extra point for this morning, for the record. 

I should actually be able to work this out from Foal's updates through the season, will have a look when I get some time. 

EDIT: Foal's original explanation in the first post of the thread was as follows;

1 point win, 2 point draw, 3 points loss (you tipped the other side to win)

+5 points for correct score

To me the "+" on the front of the 5 suggests the 5 points are additional, so you should indeed get the 5 points, AND the points for picking the right result (win, draw, loss).

From the points calculations I have done, this means ajc gets an additional 3 for the Man City 3-0 loss he picked, and I get 1 for the Milan pick. There were no other successful exact score picks during this period. 

I am updating now - I will update from the original ManC result ajc picked onwards, so all records are correct right the way through.

I'm quite enjoying doing this. Got used to it now, Whoscored.com is a fantastic website for the stats.

Man I'm really puzzled as to where Foal has disappeared to, he seems like a really responsible kinda guy, always would make an effort to get in and update, and I remember after the Chch earthquake that time, his wife even came on and told us he was a bit busy in the community, to keep doing our picks, and that he would come back and update when he could. 

This makes me a tad worried that something has happened to him or his family. I really hope not.

I thought the same but then heard we were the team they had the worst record against in the EPL. With no wins in 2018 we have the worst away form out of the top 4 english leagues...
