Speaking of muppets... who was the guy (that sounded like Smithy) who called up and tried to school Telfer on Coliseum?... sounds like an employee - who was rather generous/optimistic with some of his facts and costings - if he can get Apple TV for $100 he's living in Aussie lol
It wasn't me. I have had my turn schooling Telfer and wouldn't waste the oxygen doing it again.
Point of fact though. If Brendan Telfer is on your side (Frankie, take heed) you're probably on the wrong side, because Telfer is an epic moron.
I don't have a side.
Then you're the voice of morons. I'm not sure which is worse.
*sigh*
I have Apple TV and are fully aware of how to plug it in and use it. Despite being told on numerous occassions where the information to connect a computer to a TV, I don't need it. Thanks all the same.
I don't think that I have ever said anything stronger than moving to CSM is an inconvenience, and frankly have no opinion on it either being a good thing or a bad thing. I am probably the very definition of indifferent in this situation. I am sure someone will be able to prove otherwise in about 30 seconds, so good luck to you.
All I have said is that a number of non tech savvy people have asked me (a non IT person) questions about how simple/complicated this is for them, which leads me to believe that the information they require is not available in places these people would normally look. I am not the voice of these morons, just expressing an opinion that I would have thought that they would have used other means to communicate this information (adverts, fliers, etc).
So where would one 'normally look' if they wanted to know how to connect their tv to their computer?
In a best-case scenario PLP will get 13k subscribers to break even. Why would they even comprehend paying to deliver a flyer round the country for that? And if they did, would they fill it with info on how to connect the tv to the computer and other technical matters? Nope, that would still be on the website.
I've no idea why someone would ask you for help with this, but next time they do, just respond:
"Go to premierleaguepass.com"
And they'll get everything they need.
