yep,

just seen a shot of McClaren, furiously writing  --  his resignation

2041: From where I'm sitting, I see grown men with their hands in front of their eyes. Scott Carson fumbles Luka Modric's shot but somehow gets away with it. It's a horror show. Steve McClaren is writing notes - I'll leave you to guess what he might be writing.

Good news if England don't qualify.

Means we wont have to listen all about 1966 during the Euros next year. Although I predict there will be a load of dribble about a weakened tournament without England!!

In the short term Colvinator, you may get your wishes, but if England fail to nick two back, that will see McClaren gone, and England will be in South Africa to blight your entire year of 2010

Well - your right that it may be a good thing for England to get rid of McClaren. It would have been worse for England if they only just didn't qualify and Steve kept his job. I'm still not scared about 2010 though. Don't think they have the players to do much whoever the coach is.

there's still 39 minutes to go...  it's not over yet...
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

yea tigers, i think having doubts is built into the mind if you're an England supporter, you can never really be sure of anything with this team hehe

my doubts are more about the future than tonight now

but despite the fact that McClaren will now probably survive, I'm still delighted that (touch wood) we'll be there in 2008

wouldnt mind another goal!!

On the positive - it's good for Phoenix that Beckham set up a goal.
