I reckon you guys can get something out of Villa tomorrow.
if the worst does happen, I'll just have to grit my tigery teeth and wait another 104 years for our next go
YOU'RE GOING DOWN.
Barring a complete miracle.
I never take pleasure in telling fellow supporters this but...
My exact thoughts!, pity the rest of the Wanderers couldnt follow suit and pull out a performance.
Muamba seems to be blowing a chance every game, Davo and Samuel were there consistant selves, McCann and Taylor worked hard but Elmander and Mini Davo seemed to go missing.
Oh well, Newcastle back in the drop zone so at the end of the day its not all bad
yep, corkster we could do without the distraction
You'll be OK this year, Newcastle look like they are determined to take the 3rd place.
Next season though now that will be interesting
Next season though now that will be interesting
As a Newcastle supporter i hope you go down..Does Hull deserve to go down? No. Does Newcastle deserve to stay up at the moment? No. Anyway i think Hull will be ok. Newcastle cant manage a goal at the moment so looks like we are going down, down, down!
Would Michael Owen show some loyalty and spend a year in the Championship?
Would any Prem team be interested in buying him?
Spurs will pick him up for 15m.
They could have the entire Hull City team for that amount!
We dont want Michael Owen. He says on the club website "give me the chances and il score them" and then he misses a one on one against Portsmouth.
Hes been either injured or rubbish all year.
I agree. Michaels star is dimming as he approaches the twilight of his career as is Mark Viduka's.
There is little in the Newcastle team that can consolidate the Club in the premier League. They have but one chance to survive and that is against Boro. Whoever wins that game stays up an the loser will go down taking Hull City with it.
The power of positive thinking eh.
On the other hand OzTiger i think the Newcastle Boro game will be a draw, relegating both sides. West Brom will pull off a great escape and the third and final team down will be Sunderland.
North East Football. It's remarkably sh*te.

oztiger, please just join in with the standard denial of reaility required at this point in the season
agree buffy with the newc boro draw outcome but not sure that the baggies will survive
f**kin grim events for tigers fans since november
08 was a fine year - 09 has been fairly taxing
Cousin to score in a 1-1 draw monday night in Britain
beat stoke or bolton and we might just survive!!
U 'ULL!!!
A draw will be marvellous for us and could probably send both Newcastle and Boro down.
A single win for us anywhere could work wonders.
However, I have to be brutally honest when I say that the English premier League is way above our heads under the current Paul Duffen led Consortium. They have taken money out of the Club to shore up their own ailing investment Company and have put innumerable feelers out for prospective buyers.
Nobody of note wants anything to do with Hull City unless they are on their last legs and can spend two or three years in our much vaunted luxurious physio rooms on obscene wages prior to retiring.
We're DOOMED I tell you, DOOMED!
OzT sad to hear this from your post

>> They have taken money out of the Club to shore up their own ailing investment Company and have put innumerable feelers out for prospective buyers <<
well, the first bit anyway
though the second bit seems to offer some hope, if we got the right person/consortium
good results for us so far this weekend, be nice if we actually did something ourselves!
p.s. - who was that Scotsman in DAD'S ARMY?
Twas none other than the "I killed the Sparrow with my Bow and Arrow" man, Mr John Laurie.
"We're DOOMED I tell ye, DOOMED"!
Please lose to villa! Or else bye bye Newcastle
I reckon you guys can get something out of Villa tomorrow.
Please let Hull stay up.. can you imagine the ROF with a grieving Tigers!!
if the worst does happen, I'll just have to grit my tigery teeth and wait another 104 years for our next go
unless, of course newc, midds and wba keep being just as poor as us
a win v stoke might improve things!!
I thought so too Arsenal, until the final whistle - shame we only put it together in the last 12 or so mins
Barmby and Bo kept us in with a chance
not sure what was going on with Geo and Cousin!
Your away end for this weekend has sold out.
Tis a pity NZ Sky have decided not to show it.
it's certainly a big game for us Corkster, congrats to your lot for being 99% sure of staying up
Beattie was an inspired signing
If the Tigers pick up 3 points we'll be a lot closer to survival, i expect 4 points from now on might be enough
i'm not sure who'll sore for us though
Ashbee out for the season with a bung knee. I pray for a win somewhere before Manure in the last game. Most likely is v's Stoke. My fingers are so crossed it is starting to hurt.
cmon DF, no need to be confused, all Tigers fans have developed a strong ability to deny reality - of course Ill still be alive in 104 years
i'm glad the rest of my life is good - cos this is shaping up to be bit sh*t
a draw tomorrow would be a slight help, but i think newcastle might survive
and west brom seem to have taken to the idea of winnning all of a sudden
aaarrrghhhh

My confidence in your mob is waning big time...and to think I said earlier this season.
"20 points after a dozen games (or so) ...you'll cruise it". What the feck do I know.HarryHotspur2009-05-11 20:58:10

Its alright, We will do you a favor next weekend with Brown returning to the Reebok.
Judging by our Sunderland performance we have gone on holiday and seem willing to help out old friends (Sunderland, Sbragia being an ex coach at the club)

YOU'RE GOING DOWN.
Barring a complete miracle.
From the Fifth Official this week:
"He says he's tried everything, but perhaps Brown will dispense with the headgear at Bolton next week. That way the toothless Tigers will have a bluetooth-less manager. Thanks, I'm here all season."

OK, now I'm seriosuly worried. We have to beat Bolton and hope Newcastle, M'boro and the Baggies don't pick up points. Man U on the last day as well.
The bottom of the league is soooooooo much more interesting than the other end
Todays 3 points over boro was massive. It takes us out of the relgation zone on goal difference. Im hoping newcastle can get something from villa or fulham. but if we dont i think we might stay up on goal difference. Not sure if hull can get any more points. How about sunderland just go down instead! And i agree the bottom is way more interesting but its a bastard to be in!
Tommy S - i've just suggested to a barcodes nephew and brother in-law that sunderland going down sounds like win-win (lose) to me

Buffy - hardly crystal-ball gazing you said that, what ..4 weeks ago?? dont those cut'n'paste posts usually come with a date attached
HH - yep - but to be fair, even SiNZ'S HIGH-TECH gizmo-thingy had us staying up at that point - along with all of the British press
any way lads, at least I might be 'allowed' back in to commune with the Col u fans again
so Toffeman, the end is nigh BUT IT ISN'T HERE YET
as CamBWFC says, its favours time
and if manu are focused on the following wednesday -hey who knows - apart from Buffy that is - it's miracle time ????
CMON U 'ULL!!
There is still hope after this morning :-)
A win for Villa next week over the Bar codes and 'Boro to lose to the Hammers with the baggies losing to Liverpool or Blackburn and we're safe. All VERY possible. We could cap if off with a win over Manure kids too post league title and pre CL final.
we'll that was a fairly agonizing game
Jaskillainen has thwarted us over two games now, still if Manucho could connect with a football we'd have had it
Barmby came close and ran his ageing arse off -GOOD LAD!
am a bit of a nervous wreck, but i don't look anywhere near as wired as PB
logically, the most influential thing is likely to be how Villa perform against Newc
if we could scrape a point off man u, that might be some insurance
aaaarrgghhh!
U 'ULL!!!!
Well, with United having wrapped up the title and having the Champion's League final three days after your game, I wouldnt be surprised to see you get points off them. And all your lovely fans can chant "United, United" again!
I hope Hull stay up. It guarantees full houses everywhere Newcastle play in the championship.
