I've always been a big supporter of Rafa, but the fans won't put up with losing to teams like West Ham for very long.
The question is, who do we replace him with?
Would the fans put up with having Mourinho in the role? (From what I hear he's about to take the Valencia job anyway)
Don't suppose you'd lend us Wenger for a few seasons would you?
Who else is about that could do the job?
btw: Thats actually a good question Arsenal

It's not all trolling.

Personally I rate Mourinho very highly. He (and a bucket load of cash, but you've already got that at Anfield) turned Chelsea into a top 4 side. I think he's far more shrewd than Benitez and technically better at reading the game. The question then becomes, can Liverpool fans support him? No one likes Chelsea but can they look past that and see Mourinho for what he is, a class act?
Hands off Wenger! But I hear Big Sam's available.

You need to sell Gerrard too in order to move on. Much in the same way we have when we sold Henry and also Vieira a few seasons back and Man U have with RvN.
I believe selling Gerrard and sacking Rafa are the two main priorities at Liverpool right now if they want to move forward in the right direction.
Three for me, and two for them.

*Cough* Fat Sam, never!
Yeah I agree Mourinho built an excellent team at Chelsea (even though he had about 130 million pounds to do it).
The team he built was excellent in a 4-5-1 formation, but whenever he tried to play two strikers up front he couldn't seem to get it to work which is a bit of a worry.
I like his attitude though, he builds a fortress within the team and says "F*&k everyone else" it is not always popular but always builds a really strong team unit.
Maybe if we could get Jose we could get Drogba and Torres up front. I hate Drogba but he's a great footballer.

Theres an article on soccenet.com that has benitez saying that liverpool could still come fourth, thats a bit dissapointing isnt it, weren't you guys meant to like win it this season? spent 40 mil to drop a place on last season at best. it could still be 2 or 3 places.

Not rubbing your nose in it.
I recorded the game and got home to find the planner had dropped it off. Does anyone else have this problem with EPL and A League Games. Doesnt seem to happen with anything else.
Needless to say, cant comment much on the game yet, (on again tomorrow 2am) as when I switched on live it was just in time to see the replay of the pen.
One thing I did notice at the end though, was Rafa pointing to someone on the feild saying "That's Enough" and waiving his arm in one horizontal motion. Was that a signal that someone will be missing from the defence next week or that he has had enough. Certainly his after match comments dont indicate that.
From a Hammers point of view, the two games against Livewrpool are vital, in that we may well pick up 10 or 12 points from this and the next 3 against lower opposition this month, and the game in hand, against you could put us in a very good position.
At least Curbs has been going into bat for Rafa this week.
Cheers

I haven't seen the game as I was at work.
Uiron: I had a similar problem that whenever I booked in something on Sky, if sky was already on that channel, it would switch to the preview channel once the booking kicked in. Is that the same as you?
If so you need to make sure its on any other channel except the one the footballs on and let the booking change the channel.
I think Everton will be the biggest threat to us getting 4th, West Ham are strong at home but a different story away, as are Man City and Pompey.

Torres suffers same injury as Lonegunmen..........From Soccernet.com
Hamstring rules Torres out of Chelsea trip
Liverpool have confirmed that striker Fernando Torres has suffered a hamstring tear and is set be sidelined for 10 days.
The 23-year-old limped out of Spain's 1-0 win over France on Wednesday in the 23rd minute and a subsequent scan revealed the extent of the damage.
Torres is set to miss Liverpool's trip to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday, their FA Cup clash with Barnsley on March 19, but should be fit in time to face Inter Milan in the Champions League on March 19.
A statement from club spokesman Ian Cotton on the club's official website said: 'Fernando was examined by medical staff when he returned to Melwood.
'A scan later confirmed their diagnosis that he suffered a hamstring tear in his right leg. Fernando is expected to be out for approximately 10 days.'Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
