Imo opinion we should be aiming for 7 points against those teams, if not 9, because the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham should probably be racking up a few wins as well.

After Spurs this week Chelsea have Fulham, Villa and Wolves. Arsenal have Villa this week, then Wolves, QPR, and Fulham, so there is the possibility that they might not drop any points over the next few games either. I believe that after this week Tottenham have a reasonably easy draw for the next few games as well, so getting results will be crucial for Liverpool to stay in touch in the new year.

Of course, everything could change with the transfer window opening soon. I am hoping (optimistically I will admit) that the owners will give Kenny as much freedom as they have in the last two windows, in which case we could be looking at having a very solid squad by February. Fingers crossed!
