Nice back heel from Johnson for the second

i want to see Bellamy starting, he's been in top form against Chelsea both times. Him and Suarez up front could really cause Fulham some problems

agree, bellamy has caused carnage in the games that he has started, maxi must start too after all like kenny said he likes London!

YUS he's starting against Fulham

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Skrtel, Agger, Henderson, Adam, Spearing, Bellamy, Carroll, Suarez. Subs: Doni, Maxi, Coates, Kuyt, Downing, Carragher, Kelly.

I know kenny has to keep trying with carroll and i'm sure he will come right at some stage but at the moment he has to be one of the most frustrating players to watch. And im not talking about his finishing even, just his general play where he gives it away time after time. In saying that a few goals from him would settle him down alot. More Kuyt in 2nd half please

I really don't think Carroll will ever come right. I feel like he has been given the benefit of the doubt for sometime now and looks nothing more than a decent Champo player. The threat in the air has been over played, his holding up of the ball is average and his first touch is generally poor.

Cut our losses and go for a proper finisher. the aerial game doesn't suit us....

The aerial game doesn't seem to fit him either, he goes up to jump and spins around in mid air!? I don't know what he is trying to do, a 360 headed goal?

was that Ref a matt gillett wannabe? Spearings tackle looked a lot like what Nick Ward did. And why disallow an onside goal? Liverpool should have gone 1 up and finished with 11 players

Carroll is sooooo poor. Thought that was an entertaining game for a (relative) neutral.

"Fulham, outplayed in the first half, came back strongly in the second but Liverpool were on the wrong end of three decisions from referee Kevin Friend which otherwise might have turned the game their way.

Fulham defender Philippe Senderos was lucky not to concede a penalty after 59 minutes when he clattered into Charlie Adam inside the box.

The officials also ruled that Luis Suarez was offside putting the ball in the Fulham net when he looked level with the last defender, and Spearing was shown a red card for a foul on Moussa Dembele when he caught the Fulham player with his trailing leg after playing the ball first."

3 times the refs were against us. are they on trial to be an a-league ref or something?

Yeah, the re's crap and all that but we should also have put away 3 or 4 other chances. Carroll is crap and Spearing isn't up to Prem level yet. Maxi should have started.

We need to purchase a finisher ala Berbaflop or Ruud Van.....a johnny onthe spot who can finish from any angle and get in front of player. Carroll just looks lost 100% of the time!

That Spearing red card decision was a disgrace. You guys were robbed.

Agree, but although Suarez is a great player he is a cheat.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

They should sign Forlan in January. him + Suarez are used to playing together for Uruguay and together at Anfield would prove to be one of the most lethal attacks

So annoyed! Managed to avoid hearing the result all day, avoided people at work that might know the result so I could watch it when I got home, gf was out for dinner, house to myself, had my own dinner all planned, proper night in couple beers relax and then some old dear said shame about the fulham result this morning love as I walked out of the door at work! Dammit!!!! Could have slapped her!

Watched the highlights, if hendersons goal went in would have been a different game. Carroll does look lost, don't know if he is going to be given the amount of time that lucas got to come right. For such a big guy he falls on his ass way to much and can't hold the ball up for toffee! Red card? Very harsh imo but he did follow thru with his studs showing so thats probs what the ref saw.

Why on earth can we not seem to get up for any games outside the top four? We can get results against the tough teams but can't do well against other teams! So so frustrating!

Forlan was only signed by inter this season, not gonna happen. Maybe on fifa but not here.

Just because he 'won the ball' doesn't give him the right to then do whatever the hell he wants to his opponent after. It was very clearly a two footed, studs up, high challenge and deserved a red, despite the apologist commentating at the time (I'm sure you had the same lot over there).

The most embarassing part is when people say with 11 players on the park we woulda been good enough to get a draw.... yes good enough for a draw with fulham..... imagine what we could do with 12 players

The larfing stock of Manchester has however helped a little.

Suarez pulling the finger was silly and I can understand the charge for that. because of his general nature people love to hate him and will try drag him down at any opportunity, he needs to be more aware of that and try chillax a bit. It is bs that he would get charged straight away, whereas the FA might let it slide with other players.

The club getting charged is an absolute joke though. Wtf does that even mean..? a fine?

No comment on todays game lads?

Hendo and Adam worked well imo, good to see suarez finally get a goal. Thought it was looking like another 0 - 0, we were lacking a spark in the final third, yet another oppo team's keeper was having a good game, created so many chances but no one could quite finish. Are we going to go for a goal poacher in jan? If so who?

I feel like we are close to giving a  team a good hiding. The first half we created heaps of half chances but things aren't going our way or the team hasn't quite gelled. Good signs though as we are only just out of the top 4. Does anyone know what happens to Suarez if he gets found guilty of his charges?

Only saw the MOTD highlights of the match so not a lot to analyse. Sounds like another case of missed chances but some of the passing and play I saw was stellar. If we keep this up, keep nabbing the 1-0 wins it'll soon click. There's going to be a match soon where we sink 5.

Mighty League 1 foes, Oldham for the FA Cup 3rd round.

I still have nightmares of the last league 1 encounter we had at Anfield...

Off the BBC.....would you??? Personally i'm in!!!

Chelsea are ready to cut their losses on out-of-form striker Fernando Torres and will accept an offer of 20m for the Spaniard in January. Their valuation represents a loss of 30m on the fee they paid Liverpool in January of this year.

Nah, the bridges are still smouldering. Personally I'd rather sink that $20 plus a bit more into the likes of enticing Cavani or Villa even... Aim high, no more interim plasters to cover the scars.

Swap Torres for Carroll!!

Seriously , no thanks to Torres. Villa would be nice but 40M for a 30 yr old- can't see it happening. One name that Jr has scouted is van Wolfswinkle ( or similar). Any good?

Didn't ricky van wolfwinkle move to Sporting LIsbon from Netherlands last summer?  Likely he won't move again I would have thought? Money talks I suppose!

I love transfer time! I have heard about a guy called Luuk De Jong. Apparently we are interested! Although my hit rate has been pretty terrible.
