I must say it does feel rather nice to not be the team frantically scrambling for cover before the end of the transfer window this year. Arsenal is in mayhem, Everton are fuming and still facing the prospect of being gutted by Moyes, and Tottenham are still facing the prospect of losing the player who has essentially carried them single-handedly the last two seasons. Admittedly we are still in a similar situation to Tottenham (including being reasonably confident in the cover we have available if our key player leaves).

But after the last few transfer windows, mostly full of frustration, it's nice to feel as though we're on slightly more solid ground this time around.
