Hillsborough 30 for 30 on espn this Tuesday at 11pm if you haven't watched it online yet.

I watched this last night.

Forgive the naivety of my post but I never knew much about this at all, I never understood why people were banging on about 'justice for the '96' etc etc, I always assumed that standing terraces were an accident waiting to happen and that the accident happened, so the rules were changed accordingly.

Wow, just wow. I could not believe what I was watching, it was absolutely mind blowing.

I had no clue about the incompetent decisions by senior police that day and the subsequent cover-up. I can't believe that the altered statements of the policemen were ignored for years, despite being there for all to see.

It was absolutely outrageous, my bottom lip was on the floor for basically the entire two hours, I'm flabbergasted this is still playing out in the courts etc 25 years later.

Good on you Paul.As others have said many just don't know the truth.
Some things in life you just never forget.Hillsborough is one of those for me.

Heysel also springs to mind. I remember watching an Italian fan pulling out a 9 mm and shooting towards fans.

Seriously?? As in you were there, or you saw this on the TV?

I read about this the other day, it was actually a starters pistol, but was seen on tv and would have obviously looked quite shocking.
