Listen, I didn't like the appointment of Rodgers when he first came and his first season did nothing to win me over. I was fuming at the way FSG treated King Kenny and, for me, they will never be forgiven for that. Rodgers, though, has absolutely made me look a Twit. Really hope we can push on from last season now.
Interesting re Kenny. I always thought that FSG were in a very difficult position with that one. He was and always will be an absolute legend, but our league position just wasn't good enough when he was coach and imo he had to go. If it were anyone else it would have been a no brainer, it was just made difficult by the fact that he's a club legend, and then made even more difficult by the fact that he won the Captial One cup. I felt for the guy but agreed with the decision to let him go.
