I worked in a Chelski faithful pub 'The Worcester Park Tavern' in 2001 in London. Scariest 3 months of my life.

Staff wore blue shirts and the manager changed them to red...they soon got changed back.

One day he turned the Sky upstairs (which controlled the whole pub) over to watch Sunderland play instead of a Chelski game...they kicked his flat door in, changed the channel and set the remote on fire on the pool table.

They let me get away with being a Liverpool fan as I was a Kiwi 'so not a real fan' and just wanted to talk about if NZ needed scaffolders or plasterers. I also made the best cheese burgers in the area apparently.

When in London in 2009 I went to a concert at Wembley Stadium. After it finished a couple of guys a few rows behind me held up an Italy flag that had "Rome is Here" printed on it. A guy jumped over rows of seats and ran up to them with a lighter and tried to set fire to it while saying "you're in our country now respect our country" as if holding up a flag was somehow disrespectful. Next morning I saw the same guy on the train and sure enough he was wearing a Chelsea shirt. I mean, as if there was any doubt. Had a northern accent too and got out at the station for Stamford Bridge so he had presumably come down to London for the concert and went to fit in the stadium tour too.

Can think of another occasion in NZ at some event, possibly a concert at Vector Arena (not sure what) where I was queuing for the toilet beforehand and this guy just pushed in to the front and said "I don't queue, I always tell my son we go to the front. Because we're Chelsea fans. Champions." Again, as if there was any doubt.

Of course there are no Arsenal ,Man Utd fans or others that are not bogans. Picking on Chelsea fans alone shows you know zip.

As a self confessed old fella, you are surely aware of Chelskis supporters previously much lauded association with the BNP, National Front, Headhunters and suchlike?
