He's refusing to work with Rodgers and everyone is blaming the agent but Sterling himself has been difficult in recent dealings. It's 1+1=3 but from that, I'd suggest that his own team mates have little time for him right now. If he suddenly did a U turn, he'd have to grovel to all and sundry, take the original offer and I can't see that happening. What I can see happening is City offering 40m + add-ons, us taking it and then Sterling getting splinters in his backside from the City bench.
