42 goals in 88 games across 3 season while not prolific (high numbers for mid/lower table teams are rare) would suggest he wasn't purchased purely on the basis of one season BUT you're right in that he's not being used to his strengths. He needs to be partnered up front and he needs crosses - at one point we had a free kick about 35 - 40 yards out but went for the quick short pass. What's the point?
