Hate to admit it but I am reasonably jealous in the transfer business you guys have done compared to Arsenal and the squad you already had.

Maybe this year WILL be your year. We'll be lucky again to get 6th.

Twitter is gold right now - Arsenal fans are all being very relaxed about the LFC news, Manc fans are worried because of their own lack of transfers but Citeh fans are going absolutely feral about it.

I don't even think we see you as direct rivals currently. In my estimation, City and Liverpool challenging for the title with Man Utd likely also doing so, with Chelsea/Arsenal/Spuds competing for 4th.,

If you're setting odds on things I'd say 100% correct. However as we all know,it usually never works out exactly how we think.

Someone will surprisingly challenge, and someone will surprisingly flop.

Arsenal and Chelsea are probably the big question marks. Could be successful, could totally capitulate.

Same with ManU to some degree. Their season might depend on their new signings. Mourinho tends to ride a fine line between success and implosion, and this is his third season there, traditionally his bad season at his previous clubs. I suspect some world cup hangover for Pogba, and perhaps Lukaku, but probably a big season from Sanchez now that he's settled and had a rest in the off-season, so who knows how they will go.

ManC might suffer from some world cup hangover too, I would be surprised if they get as many points as last season, but I would still have them as huge favourites.

I think Spurs will be the same as ever under Poch, and where they finish will depend on how well the rest of the "big 6" fare this season.

Liverpool, despite the feelings of success last season, actually need a lot of improvement in terms of consistency in my opinion. On their day they are great, but they need more days. 4th really isn't good enough for Klopp now that he's settled and has effectively completed the building of a very good squad. I would say they need to seriously challenge for the title this season, and perhaps nab an FA or League Cup to satisfy the trophy cravings, or questions should be asked.
