Your're right about that tackle.Said at the time Carragher was lucky.Looking at the pics just reinforces that feeling.Maybe if he had been sent off Rafael wouldn't have lost his head a couple of minutes later.

Thats for sure, but Rafael was lucky as well. It was a bad decision by the ref NOT to send Carragher off.
Even the one-eyed Liverpool fan Robbie Slater reckoned it should have been a red.

Pics are bad. Bet the commentator feels like a dip sh*t now after telling him he faked it.

Ffs just another should be red. I didn't realize it was that bad (seeing as they only showed one replay)

 oh, the irony.

And Rafael thought it was Meireles too

Suarez raped the towering figure of Wes Brown, the speedy lil sh*te Rafael, the "English Alonso" (rofl) Carrick, and the ever-cheerful Evra all in the space of above five metres. He is a beautiful human being. Admit that he took your entire team to pieces all game. I'm in love already

Not only do you know sfa about football, you're an idiot.
Not sure what you are gloating about. You guys will win nothing again this year. We have beaten you more times anyway.

I've had a lot of time to think about that game...

Now obviously United played crap, but quite frankly Liverpool were nothing special at all. The second and third were straight mistakes, and on any other day the first wouldn't have happened.

If I were a Liverpool fan I wouldn't be gloating at all, if we played like that against Chelsea, Arsenal, City or Spurs we would've been smashed 6-0. Take out the two mistakes it was 1-1.

Kenny is correct. The win means nothing.

Just for reference, this is how you gloat when your (very successful) rivals are beaten by someone else:

"Glad to see your lads dropping points somewhere!  Gives me hope that we can get a result ourselves.   Best wishes for Nani's quick recovery - the crowd at SJP will want to see him."

As far as Liverpool fans are concerned, I wouldn't presume to try teaching them anything...

You do realise Ferguson did say that? So how you draw that I know nothing about football from that statement- and that I'm an idiot- is beyond me...

Meh, I really, really don't go for that. I think we played so well- some of the passing and moving was fantastic. High tempo, pressure, closing down, some nice, crisp- even first time!- passing... We were excellent from front to back. Although I agree, you were rubbish today, basically nobody showed up (although you obviously missed Vidic and Rio- and I assume your midfield doesn't always play like that...?). Your logic about it being 1-1 too

Yeah, the win is three points closer to a top six finish or whatever. pretty much nothing. And while I still think you'll win the title, its nice to have our day in the sun and know that we can play like that. Against one of our fiercest rivals and against the 'Champions'.

But I hate United and you hate Spain so we're all as bad as each other.

Good victory from some of our squad players this morning against what was arguably the strongest side Arsenal could choose from. Arsenals players are dropping like flies as well. :)

When I saw the players walking out of the tunnel I thought that AF was winding up the supporters. When the team came up I said to myself this guy obviously does not want to win this cup(again)Probably one of the weakest midfield ever, and two of them have not played there before-- plus Brown at RB(will be a penalty for sure)
First 25 min Utd did not get a kick of the ball, although the did not play badly. They were organised.
The first goal was a great movement and although the commentators thought the keeper should have saved it, I thought he made a great save in the first place.
Second half Utd played much better and when Rooney scored it was all over.
Arsenal might play the most attractive football in the EPL, but for me they overdo it and instead of getting in behind(when they did this they looked dangerous)the defence they tried to go up the middle and never looked like it.
I'm glad I'm not an Arse supporter as there type of play at the moment(dominating) and not winning would drive me nuts.Either get some players that can score or get another Manager.

Although it may work to their advantage now they have been knocked out of all the cup matches they can really concentrate on losing the league

Considering that is was such am important game for both teams is was played in the right spirit.
Only 10 fouls in the whole game and 1 yellow, that was Scholes(for a stupid tackle)
Can't remember any game with such few free kicks.

It may not have been the strongest side available, but when Valencia came on we looked much more dangerous, and when Nani is back then we will have two of the best attacking players in the league.

Line up was somewhat genius.

Fabio has been playing LM on and off for the reserves for quite a while now (in fact I think for the reserves Fabio goes where Fabio wants...)

Very good show of sportsmanship too. So much nice to watch football matches like this.

A good game as a neutral. You're right about the sportsmanship.Which made what Scholes did at the end odd to say the least. Is there some history there?

I don't think so, just Scholes sometimes has a rush of blood to the head. The guy is a great player but he annoys me when he carries on like that.

United Youth beat Liverpool 3-2 after being 2-0 down.

Oh and Pogba got a second yellow for not taking a penalty correctly. (Wtf!)
