Can't believe that wasn't a penno just then when Evans wrestled Beckford to the ground...

Everton have been so poor in the air this half it's just not funny.  Simply woeful.

And let's be honest Leggy, if it came down to goal difference it would at least make it interesting.  Hasn't been the best Premier League season generally by any means.

i dont really think it was a pen, anichebe had lost control of the ball and he was travelling at a decent clip. if the ball had been near him maybe

Perhaps not the best, but 10 years ago Utd were winning my a mile, and for football it is much better this year.

So as from this morning all the Arse supporters will now become Chelsea fans until the end of the season.
Some of them might be feeling a bit sick as they have been bagging Torres for some time now.
They only have themselves(or Wenger) to blame, although a few will surely blame Utd for their failure. They have one of the most talented squads in the league, ( probably the most) but the thing they lacked was steel.
I mentioned this to Buff last season.
For me the other reason is that they play 70% of the game up the middle, and at a slow pace giving the other team time to get men behind the ball.It was even more obvious against Bolton. They don't play a lot with width, and when they do the delivery into the box is very poor. Have always enjoyed watching Arsenal play but am glad I am not a supporter as they would drive me nuts.

I realize this sounds hugely like sour grapes but it would be so much easier to concede the title to you guys or potentially Chelsea if you or they were playing well but whoever wins it will limp over the line.  No team have stood out especially not Arsenal who have been worse than many, past form considered.

You lot should be happy though, our abysmal failure makes it all the more likely that Chelsea will fail to catch you.

On a side note, Clichy is the most annoying player one could possibly have in their squad.  I hope the Juventus rumours eventuate.

Maybe a few going with new owner - wouldn't surprise me to see Arsene "move on" at the end of the season.

Mmmm noticed that. Must've been a serious amount because surely he realised he was going to take some slack.

Sums it up. And no, I don't blame anyone but the squad/wenger. You guys have continued to live up to your teams reputation as fighters with steele. And stoppage time winners!

Top performance from our boys, and their keeper. Can see why a lot of teams are after him.

Very happy to get the two goals. Rooney was inspiring, looks great playing just off Hernandez.

Im loving what I am seeing from Fabio. Didn't realise he was a right back until the Everton game. Is getting better and more confident with each performance.
First half was up there with the best team football of the season. And I always knew that the goal was coming, as it always does with United. Valencia, Rooney, Park, Fabio especially stood out for me but there was no one that let the team down.
I want de Gea, but wouldn't be disappointed if we got Neuer thats for sure.

Fabio and Rafael are two high quality wingbacks we have in our squad.

Could end up having one at RM and one at RB as well. Both on the same side of the field could be deadly.

Utd. were great today, I have not said that for a while.Nobody had a bad game. Carrick played the best I've seen him this season.
If they play like that on Sunday it will be a cracking game.

I think we'll murder the Arse - a repeat of the 5 - 1 from the 2000 - 2001 season maybe?

I have a feeling the fallout from the classico semifinal that it might benefit us. Barcelona are right under the microscope at the moment with their behaviour on the pitch and the extra attention will make officials wary - and maybe it will have an impact on their overall performance.

The other thing we can hope for is that Messi picks up a wee hamstring strain or something - I never want to wish a player an injury but the guy is untouchable at the moment.

if messi plays rafael or fabio should - purely man mark nothing else, even if it removes one player from our team then it removes a huge influence from theirs.

I think monkeyboy can afford to be cocky

Arsenal - been rubbish since Carling Cup Final defeat

Schalke - Should be able to comfortably defend a 2-0 lead at Old Trafford. Could probably even rotate some of the squad.

Chelsea - never looked troubled in the two CL quarter final games.

Hate to say it but United this season have shown again what it takes to be Champions.

He is the only MU supporter that I know that is cocky.
We are playing two of the best teams in the UK. We have to be at the top of our game to get anything from the next two EPL games.Unlike some other club fans I don't think the race for the title is over by a long way.

I'm not saying you are wrong, just that there is no point being cocky. A few supporters of another team have been cocky for months, and look where that got them.

At least it happened today of all days - most of my mates that give me sh*t are Chelsea fans and they got two of their own contentious goals in their game so can defend myself with that. Pretty crap from Vidic though I just hope a replay might show he tried to pull his hand away doesn't look like it though.

Meh. Owen should've had a penalty. Vidic hand balled

Meh.
