Sorry team, been away for the last week or so! Personally, while I like the idea of having locally-born players football teams, really it doesn't matter if they were born on Mars. Teams, including Arsenal need to bring players in that win and the French boys seem to do that.

Incidently, halftime in the Carling Cup tie and we have only Neville and Darren Gibson (who might even be Irish) in the starting Eleven from England. Dunno how many of English boys the Arse have this morning, but it might even be more than that. Oh its 0-0 also.

Saturday night was an interesting game, was it just me or Did Gary Nev have an absolute shocker? Then Rafael comes on and scores. Might be a more sustained change at RB coming quicker than expected. For me, one of those immensly quick, hectic and wonderful games that could go any which way, games which we always did well at Highbury in but no yet at the Emirates. Never mind, still a long way to go.

Finally an intellegent United fan arrives in the thread.

Of our starting 11 tonight 5 are English, Jack Wilshere, Gavin Hoyte, Mark Randall, Kieran Gibbs and Jay Simpson. We have an additional 3 on the bench, Henri Lansbury, Abu Ogogo and Emmanuel Frimpong.

Yes there is still a long way to go in the season and i guess any of the top four are still theoretically in the title race, although it can be argued given the opponents some of the top four have faced so far.
