History for Hammer Head

I watched Carrick play when he was with West Ham a few seasons back and if there was one thing I noticed about him then, it was that he was slow to react when he had the ball at his feet. He seemed to take an age to decide what he was going to do with it. I'm not sure I ever noticed that about him until I watched him play live. I'm sure however that these days he has improved that side of his game.
