No excuse, we lost. Have just seen the team. I think that sats it all.At least 7 players that would not normally have started. AF has a thing about the FA cup. Did the same last year in the semi final. I don't understand the guy.

Typical Man U Fan - A manager who has won 11 Premierships including the last 3 in a row,2 Champions Leagues (including a treble), has only lost 270 out of 1300 games he has manged Man U (especially when you consider what they were like before he joined and the 4 years it took to build an adequate team). And a freak result means the armchair Man U supporters think he's barmy!!!

Shows what you know about the game. He should have played his strongest team. The FA cup is not what he is after- there is no money in it.The Champions league is what he wants.
And I am not just an armchair supporter, have been one for more years that you can remember?

Leggy - not questioning you're commitment or credentials, but you just answered your own question re understanding SAF - his focus is on securing a spot in the Champions League and hopefully the EPL title as well. Why else would he (and Arsene) field that starting XI?

You are right. That was my point. The Reading guy saying that whatever side Utd puts out should win.
What a gripper.
