The first 43 minutes we were outstanding, especially Nani, Valencia, Rafael and Gibson. The turning point was that Olic goal, that really brought them into it and we failed to get back on top from that just before halftime.

So the fact he did go with him paid off big time in the first half, where he was outstanding, but not so in the second. Obviously with the red we had to bring O'Shea on who hadn't played since Henry's Hand of Frog and all that...
Bayern were great in that second period, great goal from Robben, and kept the ball from us masterfully in the final 10. Full credit to them, they were the better team over the two legs.
