Of all the ways to show your support for the Reds, changing your name by deed poll is one of the more unusual options. That didn�t stop David Wood however, who now goes by the extended moniker of David Andy Manchester United Fluffyduck Cantona Wood.
After surviving Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a rare breed of cancer on two separate occasions, the 32-year old from Nuneaton decided to live life to the full and was desperate to incorporate the initials MUFC into his name.
�I do tend to do these things, I'm mad as a balloon!� he joked. �I have survived cancer twice, the first time I was four and again when I was nine. Going through chemotherapy is never easy, especially when you are that young, so ever since I've always tried to live life the best I can.
�I am a huge Manchester United fan and wanted to add the club to my name. Cantona was my favourite player so he had to be in there, but Fluffyduck is completely random.�
Despite David�s love for his new title, there is one downside to the change.
�My girlfriend now refuses to marry me because she doesn�t want to be called Mrs Manchester United Fluffyduck Cantona Wood!" added Dave. "Most people think it�s brilliant though and I love that I have MUFC in my name.�
