One thing's for sure though. I, and I suspect many others, would hate United far less if Rooney left. He's not world class but he is a horrible, cynical, nasty little man with a bad attitude.

EDIT: And steelo, you aren't fooling anybody. We all know Fergie's complaint wasn't that the foul wasn't seen by the ref. If the ref saw it and waved play on there'd have been the same reaction. I don't know how we could know for sure that Fergie knows the ref and his linesmen didn't see it.

Sorry, will say again. The Rooney incident is different, the ref awarded a foul, whereas here the ref didn't, think that is what he is complaining about.
In saying that, Rooney should have skated for that elbow, didnt see the initial incident but looked pretty bad on the replay.
