That tackle was awful. Interesting that the penalty wasn't given, yet the ref was still aware of the tackle and booked him. I don't understand that if the ball was dead and the tackle was made, it wouldn't be a penalty (as the commentators were suggesting). Anyone know the definitive rule behind that?

You would think it should be penalty, not sure if it was because the AR seemed to alert the ref to the offence. Hope it is nothing too serious, luckily in a position we have a lot of depth
