The main issue at the start of Ole's tenure (and an issue that LvG and Mourinho never solved) was how to consistently beat the bottom teams - we've consistently outperformed the Top 4 when we've played them, but dropped sharkty points to sharkty teams. Given we dropped points already to Bournemouth, a dominant showing was much needed and I think indicates that our starting XI, at least, is now able to consistently break down small teams parking the bus. The movement of the front 3 is fantastic, as are the constant runs in between CBs and fullbacks when we're in a "half-field" attack to create space at the edge of the box for midfielders.

Our run in is Villa, Southampton, Palace, West Ham and Leicester. We dropped points to all of those in the first half, except the Top 4 side. Those next 4 games are gonna tell us a lot about how we perform against teams who line up defensively when we have our best XI available.

I don't think we'll see too many teams try to replicate the way Bournemouth defended and I don't think it would be smart of they did. They got 2 jammy goals (pen shouldn't have been given imo, for me that hits his shoulder and that nutmeg comes off 10% of the time) and looked very vulnerable every time we went forward. If teams continue to adopt that approach, I think we'll find it easier than teams who play defensively.

Can't wait to see what Greenwood becomes, teams are going to have to commit more than 1 defender whenever he gets to the edge of the area and that creates a lot of space for other dangerous players.
