If one really wants to upset Man u fans at the moment, one only has to suggest they watch the United team of 75/76 playing on You tube. The style that Docherty had them playing was innovative, attacking and even I would have paid to have watch them. Two wingers in Coppell & Hill with Pearson leading the attack. I always thought that that was a very under acknowledged side. Macari, Buchan, Stepney, Greenhoff, Nichol, McIlroy, McQueen was about to join them in defence.
I have a 3 DVD set - Match of the day - the 60's, the 70's & the 80's and I love it. there was more passion back then, no prawn sandwiches in site.....and Terracing!!
