That Mctominay kid looked quite decent in the short period I saw him playing the other week.
Those are pretty good indicators I guess. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. The rest of this season is pretty crucial to Mourinho's career at ManU I would think.
You guys are constantly referring to his position in the league as a sign of progress, it's key he stays there really. If you end up 5th, or perhaps even 3rd/4th, and win no trophies, then it wouldn't look much like progress.
Still, perhaps finishing above us would be enough, no one has done it since Ferguson ;)
Finishing above you would not necessarily win us anything, but we have won 3 trophies in the last couple of years-- one being a European one.:)
