Fixture list out for 2014/15. Looks decent to me, no real difficult patches, a nice even spread - especially compared to those two horrendous patches we had in the 2nd half of last season.

On second look... the toughest patch looks to be at the beginning

Everton, Man City, Spurs and Chelsea within the first 7 games of the season...

Possibly but you have not won it for 10 years    : )  or 11 if you include next season.

I don't believe the fact that you're coming on to have a legitimate and worthwhile conversation about Santi Cazorla, more so just another cheap and frankly repetitive dig. Sure, I know what you'll say - other Arsenal fan forum users do the same to you on the United forum, but I don't, and I find it boring.

And who gives a fuck about the community shield.

I had forgotten quite how spectacular Gerviniho's forehead is. He's very lively but decision making isn't quite there.

More Balotelli gossip although Campbell as part of the deal is hopefully a no.

It just proves how far forward Aurier gets and this can be seen in the WC so far. It would therefore mean buying a strong and quick super DM is needed if we buy him as the DM would need to be a defacto RB/CB so we don't get caught on the counter.

Fairly widespread reports that we've agreed terms with Aurier, 60k per week, and submitted an 8mil offer to Toulouse

Also rumours that Wenger has met with Balotelli's agent overnight

bad scene for Ian Wright and whanau, hope a swift arrest is imminent.

Aurier deal, for Pete's sake if he's getting 60K a week 6.5 v 8.0 for transfer is almost irrelevant. This list of players we shortchanged on transfer fee is already too long.

while I'm at it 29.5 is apparently the ask for Balotelli. Yay or nay?

Yay to Ballo and the coin needed for him, a bit of aggression is exactly what this squad needs

Reckon we can take the plunge at 30 for balotelli

Still 23 so potentially very good value there, wenger has good history with young strikers of that talent level

Absolutely. Reading more about confirmation around Aurier, be good to get him and Balotelli over the line soon.

Any stand out DMF's from this world cup? Khedira's not a bad shout, but I like to think there's a better long term solution out there.

I want our DMF to be purely defensive, more gilberto-ish if you know what i mean, someone who will always be there winning tackles and covering for attack-minded fullbacks, and is happy if they don't set foot in the opposition's goalbox for 90 minutes...

The problem is if they are doing their job well you tend not to notice them. Matuidi from france was someone we had been linked with in the past.

I think that's a great call, I did feel like earlier on Song used to be like this until he started skinning people willy nilly.

I usually skim this for articles;

http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier+...

After using it for a while you start to learn who who the blatant click-hunters are.

Generally if a rumour is splashed all the way down the page, headline after headline, then there's some smoke around that fire and I'll choose an article to read. I prefer it if espnfc or the guardian are running a story on it, then you know it could well be for real.
