I've never understood the anti-Allardyce brigade in any football club that is in free fall and needs to stay up in the prem. I mean would you have him or Moyes, Megson, etc?

Thinking on it I feel I am pretty much in the Anyone But Allardyce camp. It might be difficult for me to explain exactly why. Most of it relates to watching him whilst working with Bolton Wanderers. Now add that to the fact that being a football fan rationality/commonsense/logic sometimes goes out the window... I'll stop now.
Apart the their last match yes they were in freefall just go on their fan forums. Most were preparing for Championship football. Allardyce will get you out of relegation until you can get your shark together to appoint the next Guardiola.
Who would you really have? Moyes? Megson, Pardew or Allardyce?
I used to go to Goodison under Moyes - boringish stuff although he built a good team and I was lucky enough to see Zola and Le Tissier.
