The ref shouldn't rule that a goal. There's a law about being able to stop play if he believes that a whistle has caused a large interference with play.

Oh true, there was no whistle. Sorry, I didn't read the blurb properly and thought the guy kicked it in the net because he had heard a whistle and thought play had stopped. You can't hear a whistle in the footage either. He must have just assumed one because it was so blatantly a free kick (and red card). Colvinator2009-10-20 19:52:53
