conspicuous by his absence. .. . . Maybe he did some research and saw how often Bayern Muenchen had won the Bundesliga, then realised it didn't support his arguments . ..

maybe, maybe not.

if we look at the history of the Budesliga and compare with the top flight of Ehngland
what does the last 10 years tell us?

a major part of the charm of the Ehnglish game was that every season there was different teams who had a shot at the title. Never have we seen the same top 4 for whatever years it is now.

Is the German top 4 the same every year? Yes Bayern have won a lot...but it's not the exact same 4 teams fighting out the positions of the top 4 every year is it?

Hopefully Werder will continue to quietly pick up points. Diego's departure has left a HUGE hole in midfield but hopefully Marin will go some way toward filling the gap. Jetzt Geht's Los !!!!!

Yea huge weekend of results. Bvd have done everything to take themselves out of the race but Bayern have been even worse. I just wish Union were still in the conversation.
But for the first time in forever, it’s Dortmunds to lose!

Dortmund choked.

Three for me, and two for them.

Sigh. Frustrating.

FC Heidenheim promotion was crazy. Hamburg thought they were through but 11min extra time and a couple of goals and won the 2 BDL on goal difference.

There was a doco on Netflix (appears to no longer be), "Trainer!", in which FC Heidenheim coach Frank Schimdt is one of the protagonists.
