Exactly. It could easily have been 6-1 to Barcelona.

Ridiculously good.

watching the replay atm.
1) Van de Sar horrendously out of position for the first goal.
2) Evra and Vidic did a poor job at closing down the 2nd goal.
3) ridiculously good third goal.
and 4.....Fergie got his formation wrong....flood the midfield [ 4-5-1 ] .....and hope for a set play to score from.....or a long ball

On the other hand, you could also have this:

Porto
CSKA Moscow
BATE Borisov
Otelul

Haven't looked forward to the draw like this for 12 years, even thinking of getting up to watch it live this morning.

I bet you wouldn't mind that draw for Zagreb right? (replacing Otelul with Zagreb of course)

Three for me, and two for them.

The Draw will be at 3 or 4.45 in the morning right?

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

United got a draw they could sleepwalk through and still win the group.

Tough debut for City, Arsenal finally got a relatively challenging group.

For Dinamo, respectability is the primary concern.

Yeah. Kind of think I'd feel better if they'd lumped us 4-0 than have it ended this way.

Last 20 really said it all, we had the possession, endless corners, created pressure, but were just unable to make genuine goal-scoring opportunities. And now I'm worried we'll just sink without a trace for the rest of the games.

Nevermind. At least both Ronaldo and Ramos got lumped.

Mmm, but at least you can be proud of your team for giving it their all against a team full of pricks. If you'd only managed to score that one-on-one.

Yeah, wouldn't fancy a trip to the Bernabeu, tbh. Hopefully you keep up the spirited performances at least. Pretty rough looking group for you though.

yeah, at least go down taking as many of the c**ts with you as possible. Especially those two. Too bad you couldn't get Pepe too.

A couple of interesting results last night. Still early days though so can't read too much into it all.

My favourite moment (Arsenal aside) was Barca's last minute concession.

Arghhh, f**king scum, ANTIMADRIDISTA.

There was a short interview with him pitch-side after the game yesterday, where CR was doing his crying (they attack me, I wasn't protected, wah, wah, wah) and the woman reporter at the conclusion of the interview said to him "OK, you'd better run to the changing rooms now so you don't catch a cold".

I loled.

He said "I think it's because I'm rich, handsome and a great player. They envy me - there's no other explanation.

Bad day at the office for Manchester clubs.

My lot reverted to their old ways of gifting the opposition goals.

Tevez refusing to warm up, disgraceful.

Good to see the northern teams fare poorly tonight.

So if teams are even on points in the group stage does it not get decided on goal difference? We are equal with Valencia on 8 points. They have a goal difference of 8 and we have 6, yet they sit in 3rd place.

Head to head record is the first tie-breaker.

The current standing favours Chelsea because of the 1-1 draw in Valencia, which is counted as the better result for the away team.

For Chelsea to advance, they need to win or at the very least get a 0-0 draw. Any other result puts Valencia through.

Thanks, thought that must be the case. I thought we just had to win and was confused as to why i saw a 0-0 draw would do the job so checked the table and we were 2nd to my surprise. I just naturally assumed we would be 3rd.

Should be a tough game but coming at an ok time after our win at Newcastle.

On Wednesday morning Olympiacos v Arsenal followed by Chelsea v Valencia and then Porto v Zenit.

On Thursday morning Man City v Bayen Munich followed by Basel v Man Utd. and then Inter v CSKA.

So if Genk beat Leverkusen and we draw 0-0 with Valencia then it's us who miss out.

That is true. Keeper trying to ninja kick or.. whatever he was trying to do with the ball was spastic on all levels.

Am surprised Olympiacos have drawn the crowd they have.. with Austerity, debt and general sh*ttyness in Greece.

Dortmund are 2 up on OM which is promising for Olympiacos.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.
