i struggle to find how a ref cheating a team out of a game is funny, thats just bad for football and as a fan of football its the last thing i want to see. we were by far a better team than barca and the only way they got past us is by that cheating c**t of a ref Downey262010-04-24 12:14:49

Bollocks. Chelsea didn't get cheated, although the ref did make mistakes (two missed penalties, red for Abidal).

Chelsea got knocked out because they didn't have the balls to attack Barca in the last 20 when they went down to 10 men and had the look of a beaten side. But Hiddink decided to stay conservative, and it came back to bite him on the arse big time.

Get over it already.

Bayern up 1-0 through Olic.

2-0 aggregate. Lyon have to win by two now. Can't see it. Bayern to progress.

The Ola show. He could end up being the top scorer in the CL this season at the rate he's going.

Good to see Croatian representation in the final, it's been a few years.el grapadura2010-04-28 10:22:20

We're too good for the World Cup.

That's why we're not bothering with it this year.

Logic dictates that the All Whites are far better seeing as they made the World Cup.

Obviously.

Also great job from Smeltzy this morning on getting that hat-trick against Lyon.

Barca's play acting is horrific. I wanted them to win before tonight but after seeing the way they've been milking everything around them, especially Biscuits with the slightest hand near his face, is a f**king joke.

FORZA INTER!!!

Three for me, and two for them.

It really is. Inter are time wasting like the best of them too, but hey, may as well fight fire with fire.

Three for me, and two for them.

Busquets is a baby. I still want Barca to win though. A final in the Bernabeu is too f**king good to turn down.

Quite enjoying how the game is panning out actually.

I'm not fussed who wins. Just want to see an exciting second half really.

This would have to be one of the worst games I have seen in a long time. Inter went out from the start with no desire to attack. They got stitched up by an appalling refereeing decision which resulted in a inter player being sent off for what was nothing more a slight fend in the face. Sure it was a foul but didn't even warrant a yellow card let alone a red.

Pique scores, all on for the last 5.

Looked offside to me, but great finish.

And now Bojan scores, but disallowed because of non-existant handball from Yaya Toure.

The ref having a right old mare.

Thats a tough handball call - perhaps makes up for the slightly maybe offside first goal.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly - thought Pique was offside, but no way that was handball from Toure.

And all done now, Inter into the final.

I don't like Italian or Spanish football a great deal but supported Inter in this one.  So right, though, that they didn't come out to do anything other than defend - blimmin' good job they did as well.

Couldn't believe the send off.  It was pathetic.  Sergio's play-acting was shameful.  At the end of the game they replayed it and you saw Sergio peak out from behind his hands (which were covering his face due to his 'pain') to make sure Motta was being sent off.  As if we even needed proof, though.  Shameless.  I hope Motta doesn't get in further trouble for then grabbing Sergio round the back of the neck but he probably will.

I'd love to see a replay from a good angle of Pique's goal.  There's a chance Muntari played Pique on, but it was pretty close regardless, while with Bojan's goal I saw what looked to me like a handball and couldn't believe how long it took the ref to call it - seemed forever.  Replay looked ball to hand if there was any contact at all, though.

What happened between Mourinho and Valdez at the end?
