A CROATIAN supporter has died of a heart attack in Klagenfurt's fan zone ahead of the group B game opposing his country to Germany.

The man, aged about 20, collapsed in the fan mile in the city centre and was resuscitated by a police officer at the scene but later died in hospital, the services said.

Incase you did not see/notice,they Croatian team wore black arm bands in honour of him in the game vs Poland(1-0 win),

The incident happened just before Croatia beat Germany 2-1

Some very sad news,when Croatia is doing very well.

Always sad to see a football fan die, hopefully he died in a good mood, looking forward to the game.

This was announced during the Croatia v. Germany game, it was sad news which puts everything nicely in the perspective methinks.

yeh it happened just before the game :( just guts that he didnt get to watch us beat the Germans

i could not get in the fanzone there as it was chocka. Badlz organised with only one fanzone with a screen. Most other cities have several
