Shame there's no 3rd/4th playoff at the Euros - Portugal v Germany with nothing important riding on it would have been good entertainment value
They used to, but from 1984 onwards they dropped it. Personally, I think it's a good call and think the World Cup should follow suit. The 3rd/4th playoff is a game no-one wants to play in. It's pure cruelty!
